Late Rally by Storm Secures Win
Syracuse starter Tim Wallace pitched effectively against the Washington Generals at Storm Park. The left-hander led his team to a 6-5 win. The win was Marvin Wilson's in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Jason Long took the loss for Washington. At 13-5, the Storm have played well so far.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Syracuse designated hitter Shannon L. Alder, facing Jason Long, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Storm the 6-5 win.

"We found a way to get it done," Alder said.
