A nice crowd turned out to see the Texas Bronze Sox and Port Royal Disaster clash at Ballpark of Port Royal.

The Texas Bronze Sox defeated the Port Royal Disaster, 12-0, at Ballpark of Port Royal today. Leading the charge for Texas was third baseman Breanainn Swartwood. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Manuel Torres earned the save for Texas, his 3rd.

With one out in the top of the second, Cristo Cuervo put Texas in front, 3-0, with a 2-run single. The Bronze Sox went on to win the ballgame.

"I thought we played a nice game," Cuervo told the Texas Daily. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

The 6th-place Bronze Sox now have a 5-game winning streak.
