The Calgary Lynx topped the Plymouth Rocks by the score of 5-2, with the largest share of the credit going to right fielder Hani Azwan. Azwan went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk for the Lynx. Ángel Romero picked up the win, improving his season record to 7-5. He struck out 1 in 5.1 innings. Getting the save was Quan Shiu, his 5th.

Calgary used the timely hitting of Bertrand Pick to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put the Lynx on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Calgary manager Thomas Kemp.

The third-place Lynx have won 4 consecutive games.
