Calgary used the timely hitting of Raúl Maradona to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Lynx ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Maradona told the Calgary Gazette.
