Edwards Sensational for Belugas
|
The Brinkley Belugas got a magnificent performance from pitcher Daniel Edwards, who stifled the Plymouth offense en route to a 3-0 Belugas win at Belugas Ballpark. Ewan Atwood notched his 13th save in 15 chances. The third-place Belugas now have a win-loss record of 34-27.
Edwards scattered 3 hits over 7 innings for the Belugas. With the win, Edwards goes to 2-6 on the year with 62 strikeouts.
"It was just a matter of executing," said Brinkley manager Ricardo Medina.
