Supernovas Solve Bronze Sox, 6-2
|
The Scranton Supernovas picked up a win at Nuclear Stadium, knocking off the Texas Bronze Sox, 6-2. Starting pitcher Amando Codes was an essential part of his team's success. The win puts the Supernovas at 24-37, while the Bronze Sox drop to 28-33.
Toyokazu Oshima put Scranton in front, 4-1, when he took Carl MacPherson downtown. His 2-run home run came with one out in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 5th home run of the season.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Oshima said.
