Supernovas Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Bloomington
|
Scranton starter Amando Codes pitched effectively against the Bloomington Longnecks at Nuclear Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a 6-3 win. Getting the save was Butch Cummings, his 15th. With the win, the Supernovas improved to 23-33.
Scranton grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and the bases loaded, Juan Tellado delivered a 2-run single, to make it 5-3 in favor of the Supernovas.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Tellado said.
