The Bakersfield Nobles topped the Texas Bronze Sox, 8-6, with designated hitter Omer Yurtseven playing a big role. Yurtseven went 4-5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 times for the Nobles in the win. Mark Robinson earned the save for Bakersfield, his 3rd.

Pedro Hernández had a clutch at-bat with one out in the top of the seventh for the Nobles. Coming up with the bases loaded and Bakersfield trailing 6-5, he hit a 2-run single.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Yurtseven.

The first-place Nobles have won 4 consecutive games.
