Scranton got an elite performance from starting pitcher Kent Horton in taking a 7-1 decision over the Port Royal Disaster. Horton, the winner, moves to 4-5. He threw 6.2 innings of 1-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 4 walks. With the win, the Supernovas improved to 19-27.
The Supernovas picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We'll pop the top on a cold one and get back to work tomorrow," Horton said.
