Nobles Rally For Late Win Over Lynx

Bakersfield right fielder Serious Lee played a vital role in his team's 5-3 triumph over Calgary. He went 2 for 3 with 2 home runs for Bakersfield. James Lendell Basford got the win, improving to 1-1. He worked 8.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Manuel Sánchez earned the save, his 2nd.
Bakersfield took a 5-3 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. With two out, pinch hitter Adrián Gómez hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Bakersfield manager Enrique Castro. "It's usually not just one thing."
Bakersfield is now 25-14, 2˝ games up in the Premier AAA.
