Bronze Sox Win at Scranton, 5-2

Texas and Scranton duked it out at Nuclear Stadium and the Bronze Sox came out victorious.
Texas third baseman Mitsuhide Bando played a vital role in his team's 5-2 triumph over Scranton. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for Texas. The Bronze Sox are off to an underwhelming start as they look to defend their championship, notching only their 6th win in 15 games.
Texas took a 5-0 lead on Bando's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Kent Phillips in the top of the seventh, propelled Texas to the win.
"It was a solid team effort," said Bando after the game.
