Chukars Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start
It was a fun time at Idaho Falls Park, where the Lake Erie Arryns and Idaho Falls Chukars tangled.

The Idaho Falls Chukars downed the Lake Erie Arryns, 6-1, at Idaho Falls Park. Francisco Rodríguez led the way, going 2-for-4 for Idaho Falls. Idaho Falls starter Nicolaas Eland was credited with the win after throwing 103 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-1.

Idaho Falls took a 6-1 lead on Rodríguez's 2nd home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Alfredo Rodríguez in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Idaho Falls to the win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Rodríguez told the Idaho Falls Herald. "It's as simple as that."

The Chukars have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 3rd win in 12 games.
