Highlanders Turn Back San Antonio, 3-2

Asheville Highlanders starter Robert Snoddy was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the San Antonio BC, 3-2. Asheville is now 50-46. San Antonio is 51-45.
In the top of the sixth, Asheville shortstop David Austin had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and two out, Austin stroked a run-scoring double to right-center. It made the score 3-0, Asheville. For the game, he was 3 for 4 with a triple and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
After the game, Asheville manager Brian Fowler applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
