Highlanders Mow Down Blimps, 9-2

The Asheville Highlanders topped the Akron Blimps by the score of 9-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to shortstop David Austin. Austin went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Highlanders on the day. Marvin Wasmund locked down his 2nd save. The Highlanders improve their record to 45-40 with the win over Akron.
