Extra-Inning Win by Blimps over BC
The Akron Blimps defeated the San Antonio BC, 4-2, at San Antonio Field. Akron designated hitter Donald Lund was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-8 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Kieran Long picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Salvador Villegas took the loss. Akron goes to 45-28. The win puts them 4 games up in their division.

Lund had a game-changing home run in the top of the 20th. On a 1-1 fastball from Salvador Villegas, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Blimps a 4-2 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Lund.

When asked about his performance after the game, Lund said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
