Victory Over Rails Takes Asheville to 21-11
Rails Ballpark was the site of a remarkable pitchers' duel.

Asheville starter Patrick Nicolas pitched effectively against the Richland Rails at Rails Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 2-1 win. Asheville now has a 3-game win streak.

It could have been a different outcome for Asheville, had it not been for Kevin McIndeor, the 25-year old right fielder . McIndeor contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning to put Asheville up, 2-1.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Nicolas said.
