Cruz goes 4-for-4, Leads Lynx to Win
The exploits of left fielder Sergio Cruz, who is tied for 10th in the PAAA in hits with 16, helped the Calgary Lynx defeat the Port Royal Disaster, 5-2. Cruz went 4-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Ángel Flores, the winner, improved to 2-1. He held the Disaster to 1 earned run on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 1. The loss drops Port Royal to 6-6.

Cruz made an early impact for Calgary when he stroked his 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which came in the bottom of the third, put the Lynx on top, 4-1.
