Golden Cranes Beat Bronze Sox, 9-5
|
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes relied on the hitting of first baseman Tom Haymon to stop the Texas Bronze Sox, 9-5. For the game, Haymon went 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Javier Castillo was the winning pitcher. Over 7.1 innings, he allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, with 2 walks and 1 strikeout. At 7-4, the Golden Cranes have played well so far.
