Fans who came to Ballpark of Alloway watched the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves and the Alloway Halberds fight to the finish.
The Phoenix Hotspur Reserves defeated the Alloway Halberds, 3-2. Earning player of the game honors was center fielder José Alcalá, who hit 2 home runs. José Santiago got the win, improving to 6-3. He held the Halberds to 2 earned runs on 6 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 3 and walking 3. Nees Stroo, credited with the save, is now 1 for 1 in save opportunities.
