Hotspur Reserves Trip Redbirds in Extras
|
Phoenix Hotspur Reserves starter Tim Yoder was definitely locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Memphis Redbirds, 3-2. The Redbirds have now dropped 5 straight.
Phoenix took a 3-2 lead on Ilkka Haapajarvi's 7th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Memphis pitcher I-tsing Ts'ong in the top of the tenth.
"Enjoyed this one," Haapajarvi told the Phoenix Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
