The Florida Men stopped the Jersey City Tritons, 3-1, at Jersey City Grounds. The Men got a big game from Eduardo Álvarez, who was 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The win was credited to Raymond Allan in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Iwane Chihara took the loss. Florida, now 10-21, holds last place in the Silver AAA.

Florida used a timely hit from Barsati Saraf to get the win. The shortstop delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the third inning to put the Men on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Florida manager Joseph Fish said.
