Ghosts Knock Off Youth at The Graveyard

Casper center fielder Charles Godard was instrumental in his team's 6-3 win over the Phoenix Hotspur Youth. Godard, who is tied for 6th in the SAA with a .519 slugging percentage, went 2-3 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Ghosts. Billy Craig got the win, improving to 6-4. He held the Youth to 3 earned runs on 3 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 3. Anthony Hurst closed the game out for Casper, earning his 16th save.
Phoenix Hotspur had a runner on 1st in the top of the eighth. With one out, Keith York stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he struck out. The score remained 5-3, Casper. The Youth never could mount a comeback.
