Lancaster starter Hugh Scott pitched effectively against the Irving Blue Sox at Blue Sox Ballpark. The right-hander led his team to a 3-2 win. Jasper Kirby converted his 13th save in 14 tries. The Farmers move to 27-32 with the win, while the Blue Sox drop to 31-28.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the sixth, with the game tied, Curf Pierstisnips was at the plate when Lancaster scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Farmers to go in front, 2-1.
