The Tacoma Fur Traders defeated the Irving Blue Sox, 6-3. Earning player of the game honors was first baseman Raúl Ocasio, who was 3-4 with 3 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Tacoma's record now stands at 25-31, placing them 8th in the Silver AA.
Tacoma took a 5-3 lead on Ocasio's 6th double of the season. The 2-run double, which he hit off Keith Belcher in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Tacoma to the win.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Ocasio told a Tacoma Times reporter. "Sometimes we need just to relax."
