Casper right-hander Enrique Cruz made an effective start against the Lancaster Farmers at Farmers Field, leading his team to a 4-3 win. Cruz, now 3-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing 3 earned runs. Anthony Hurst got the save, the 3rd for him this season.
Magtanggol Florencio aided the Casper cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. For the game, the third baseman went 3-4 with 3 singles.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Cruz.
The Ghosts go to 25-25, putting them 6th in the Silver AA.
