Rawhides Bump Off Ghosts, 4-1

The Belvedere Park Rawhides topped the Casper Ghosts by the score of 4-1, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Richello Oliva. Oliva was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Rawhides. Belvedere Park starter Alfredo Córdova was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Millard Smith was called on to finish, recording his 4th save.
Belvedere Park took a 4-1 lead on Oliva's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Melvin Conner in the top of the eighth, propelled Belvedere Park to the win.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Casper skipper Martin Gaines, "and it cost us."
With the loss, Casper is 1-6.
