Drummers Win at Sioux Falls, 6-4
|
Tortolita first baseman Vojtech Farkas had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 6-4. The Drummers have an impressive 67-35 record.
Tortolita used the timely hitting of Qwuntrezz Knight to capture the win. The third baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the second inning to put the Drummers on top, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but he made it count.
"Baseball is about momentum," said Knight, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."
