Rojas Goes Off, But Reserves Win
Indianapolis left fielder Carlos Rojas was sensational. He went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double, and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Athletic Club KC beat the Racers, 15-11. Rojas was named the player of the game despite the loss. David Rowlingson, who went 6.2 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 6 runs on 10 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 4. His record now stands at 11-9. Kamisese Alohinani nailed down his 1st save.

Athletic Club KC relied on the hitting of Tasuku Goto to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Reserves on top, 5-0. For the game, Goto had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"They're fun to watch and the hitters get to pad their stats but nobody's really happy about a game like that," Athletic Club KC manager Henry Russell. "I promise you I'm not happy."

The third-place Reserves lifted their record to 58-41.
