The Pennsauken Flyers topped the Syracuse Starks, 3-1, in M3L Triple A action at Stark Stadium. The player of the game was Pennsauken pitcher Fred Gunther. Pennsauken, now 48-50, holds 7th place in the Menard's AAA.

In the top of the first, Arturo Annunziato ambushed a 3-1 fastball from Jorge Cedeño and hit a 2-run home run. It gave Pennsauken a quick 2-0 lead.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Annunziato told the Pennsauken Herald. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
