Drummers Come Back Late to Clip Red Pandas
Sioux Falls left fielder Pierre Bernard had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Bernard was 3-3 with 2 doubles and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs, even as Tortolita beat the Red Pandas, 7-6. Bernard was named the player of the game despite the loss. The second-place Drummers improved to 54-31.

Tortolita used the timely hitting of Roberto Mosca to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Drummers on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Mosca told the Tortolita Observer.
