Fighting Dachsunds Rally For Late Win Over Starks
The Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds beat the Syracuse Starks, 5-4, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The Fighting Dachsunds got a fine performance from third baseman Steve Albright, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. Francisco Alfaro was the walk-off hero for Ellenburg. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fighting Dachsunds shortstop hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
