Flyers Come Up Short at Salt Lake City
The Salt Lake City Buzz beat the Pennsauken Flyers, 6-5, at Spirits Stadium. The win was largely due to the efforts of designated hitter Aaron Day, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Paco Manuel earned his 9th save in 10 chances. Salt Lake City is now 43-40.

Had Day not come through in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Day drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Buzz never looked back after taking the 6-5 lead.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Pennsauken manager Jeff Walsh. "The effort was great."
