Houston Topples Sioux Falls, 4-2

The Houston BC beat the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-2, at Houston Park. The win was largely due to the efforts of right fielder Robby Arnold, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Houston is now 29-41. Sioux Falls is 32-38.
The BC got a big at-bat from center fielder Bailey Gribbins. For the game, Gribbins was 1 for 3. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 36th hit of the season gave Houston a 3-2 lead.
Sioux Falls manager Todd England said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
