Victory Over Drummers Takes Indianapolis to 47-22
|
Indianapolis and Tortolita duked it out at Speedway Field and the Racers came out victorious.
Indianapolis Racers starter Ignacio Uribe was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Tortolita Drummers, 5-2. Markus Martin closed it out for his 1st save.
Carlos Rojas aided the Indianapolis cause with a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Ignacio is still learning," said Racers manager Rickey Jones. "The sky's the limit for him."
Indianapolis leads the Menard's AAA by 6 games.
