Red Pandas Bang Out 7-4 Win Versus Ellenburg
Sioux Falls and Ellenburg duked it out at Dog Park in Ellenburg and the Red Pandas came out victorious.

The Sioux Falls Red Pandas beat the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 7-4, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Sioux Falls designated hitter Rafael Sánchez earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Keisuke Nishida, credited with the save, is now 6 for 7 in save opportunities.

Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Roberto Soto to capture the win. The second baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Red Pandas ahead, 7-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was an important one.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Soto. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
