The Syracuse Starks electrified Stark Stadium with a thrilling, walk-off win.

Tortolita center fielder Scotty Glenn was sensational. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Syracuse beat the Drummers, 8-7. Glenn was named the player of the game despite the loss. Denver Milne, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1 innings.

Ernesto Souza was the walk-off hero for Syracuse. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Starks third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
