|
The Key West Coral Reefers got a stellar effort from pitcher Albert Sierra, helping Key West score a 4-1 win over the visiting Syracuse Starks. Larcena Pennington sewed up the save, his 9th. Key West occupies 7th place in the Menard's AAA at 18-19.
Key West took a 2-1 lead on Miguel Montoya's 6th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Syracuse pitcher Ollie McDaniell in the bottom of the seventh.
Sierra told a Key West Observer reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
