The Tortolita Drummers beat the Indianapolis Racers, 6-4, at Drummers Ballpark. The win was largely due to the efforts of left fielder Askari bin Idris, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2-4 with 2 singles and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Dave Seals earned the save, his 5th. At 21-11, the Drummers find themselves in second place in the Menard's AAA.

Tortolita took a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, third baseman Qwuntrezz Knight hit a 3-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," bin Idris told the Tortolita Observer. "It's as simple as that."
