Drummers Win at Sacramento, 6-2
|
Getting a good performance from second baseman Tso-i Wang, the Tortolita Drummers defeated the Sacramento Redlegs, 6-2. Wang went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and a walk for the Drummers. The Drummers now have a record of 17-10.
Tortolita used the bat of Ken Moore to get the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Drummers ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it did its damage.
Moore called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
