Holloway Holds Pennsauken Hitless
|
It was a fantastic day for Indianapolis Racers starter Tom Holloway and a lousy day for the Pennsauken Flyers.
The Indianapolis hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Flyers, as the Racers cruised to a 3-0 win. When it was all over, Holloway was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter.
"The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Holloway said later.
He rang up 9 strikeouts and allowed 1 walk while shutting Pennsauken down at Pennsauken Park.
