BC Bridle Flyers, 1-0
Mick Alston pitched well, but the Pennsauken Flyers still lost the game, falling 1-0 to the Houston BC at Houston Park. The Flyers fall to 7-11 and continue to sputter in the early going.

The BC got a big at-bat from first baseman Phil Gillespie. For the game, Gillespie went 1-3 with a double. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 8th double of the season gave Houston a 1-0 lead.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Gillespie said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
