BC Get Win, Hope to Turn Around Slow Start

Houston BC starter Joel Walden was in fine form against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Houston Park, leading his team to a 5-4 win. Ken Peterson got credit for the save for Houston. It was his 2nd of the year. The BC are off to a tough start, getting just their 6th win in 15 games.
Walt Miller was a prime contributor to the Houston win. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles. In the bottom of the fourth with two out, the 28-year old left fielder hit a run-scoring single. It made the score 5-2, in favor of the BC.
"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Walden.
