The Tortolita Drummers got a stellar effort from pitcher Kabeya Kasongo, helping Tortolita score a 6-2 win over the visiting Syracuse Starks. The win moves Tortolita to a record of 7-6.

Tomás Costello hit a 2-run triple off Octávio Ríos in the bottom of the third, which put the Drummers in front, 3-1. In addition to the triple, Costello had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 2.
