The Sioux Falls Red Pandas beat the Sacramento Redlegs, 6-5 at Sacramento Sanitation Station, in part due to right fielder Enrique Rocha, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Sioux Falls reliever Pablo Aguilar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. José Alfaro shouldered the loss. Sioux Falls goes to 5-2 with the win.
Rocha had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 cutter from José Alfaro, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Red Pandas a 4-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Rocha.
"We played hard and won," said Rocha. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
