It was a good time at Drummers Ballpark, where fans came to watch the Sacramento Redlegs and Tortolita Drummers get after it.

Pitcher Cisco Pérez was sensational for the Tortolita Drummers in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Sacramento Redlegs. Pérez received player of the game honors, while picking up the win. The winning pitcher was Pérez, now 1-0. He tossed 6 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 8. Briggs Bourgeois earned the save for Tortolita, his 1st of the year.

Askari bin Idris chipped in for Tortolita with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the left fielder had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
