Racers Roll to 9-2 Win Over Flyers
|
Indianapolis designated hitter Arnold England was instrumental in his team's 9-2 win over the Pennsauken Flyers. England went 2-2 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Racers. The win pushes Indianapolis to a record of 2-2.
Richard Trevithick, who is rated as the 5th best prospect by BNN, helped out the Indianapolis cause in the bottom of the first inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the third baseman went 1 for 4 with a walk.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," England said. "We did a good job of that today."
