A 4-RBI performance from the 28-year old center fielder Spartak Gonjarov helped the Indianapolis Racers beat the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds, 7-4. Cisco Cazares got the win, improving to 1-0. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Martín García got the save, the 1st for him this season.

Indianapolis took a 6-4 lead on Gonjarov's 1st home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Benjamin Busto in the top of the sixth, propelled Indianapolis to the win.
