White Walkers Subdue Seattle, 1-0
|
Fans who gathered at Boeing Dome saw a good contest between the Buffalo White Walkers and Seattle Rocketeers.
The Buffalo White Walkers went home winners at Boeing Dome, thanks in large part to starter Kent Good. Good silenced the Seattle Rocketeers, enabling Buffalo to grab the 1-0 win. In 6.1 innings, Good surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4. He allowed no runs.
It could have been a different outcome for Buffalo, had it not been for António Boccanegra, the 31-year old catcher . Boccanegra contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the second inning to put Buffalo up, 1-0.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Seattle manager Mau Delgado.
Buffalo leads the Third League by 2½ games.
