Ruíz Sensational for Stingers
|
Toledo starter José Ruíz had a strong outing against the Cleveland Browns at Pacesetter Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-1 win. The Stingers raised their record to 12-14.
Ruíz gave Toledo a solid start. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 6 hits over 8.2 innings.
"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Ruíz. "Successful pitchers do it."
