Lakers Stumble, Lose to White Walkers
The Buffalo White Walkers knocked off the Echo Park Lakers, 8-2, at LA Forum. Jin-yong Myung, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Buffalo won. The designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Juan Guillén, the winner, improved to 2-0. He held the Lakers to 2 earned runs on 5 hits over 6.2 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The win moves Buffalo to a record of 4-2.

Buffalo used the timely hitting of Gilberto Ocasio to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Chris Lau said.
